Abishalom

Mentioned twice in the book of Kings (1 Ki 15:2 & 10) as the mother of Maacah, and thus Abijah's grand-mother and Asa's great-grandmother. We know nothing else about her. Since women do not normally make their way into genealogies unless they were particularly outstanding in some ways (for good or evil), Abishalom must have been someone of particular social significance in her time. Unfortunately the narratives do not record the details for us.
