1. BGT. If we think Paul is overdoing things, it is good to be reminded of what John says about what Jesus had done, "If every one of them were written down, I suppose that even the whole world would not have room for the books that would be written" (Jn. 21:25). For those whose lives have been transformed by what God has done, there would not be enough words to trace out the outline of all we want to say in thanksgiving. If only we could, or would, compose our praises to God with half the majestic power of Paul's thankfulness.
