The following statistics may be telling.

81x — New Testament
8x — Gospels
29x — Acts of the Apostles
36 — Pauline Epistles
8x — Non-Pauline Literature

That Acts should take up the majority is not surprising; the book is about their 'acts.' What is surprising is 1 & 2 Cor which take up 17x (11 & 6 respectively); more than the Gospels and the Non-Pauline literature taken together. The fact, of course, reflects one of the major issue in the church in Corinth that Paul had to deal with.
