Missionary society most responsible for the evangelization of the natives of Sarawak and Sabah, and was instrumental in the establishment of the Sidang Injil Borneo (SIB).
The mission was born in 1928 when three students—Hudson Southwell, Frank Davidson, and Carey Tolley—then studying at the Melbourne Bible College felt convinced that the Lord hand called them to lay down their lives to bring the gospel to the millions in Borneo. Under the guidance of the college's principal, Rev C. H. Nash, the inagural meeting took place on 1 September. A month later the three embarked on a steamer left for Singapore and then Kuching.
