Gospel of Barnabas

A pseudo-gospel written by an Italian who had converted to the Muslim faith; its date is uncertain though some authorities date it to the first half of the 14th Cent. Espousing tolerance in recognition that God's message of salvation is for everyone, it is composed of portions from the four Gospels and the Koran.
