A view, once common, that the Earth is flat. Though long discredited there remains, tragically, some Christians who still hold that the Earth is flat based on a highly contorted interpretation of the Genesis account. Even the photograph of the Earth from space taken by the Apollo and later missions do not seem able to dislodge them from their delusion.
