A city in the region of Galilee, mentioned only once in the Bible, as one of the towns from which the tribe of Zebulun failed to drive out its the Canaanites who lived there during the conquest under Joshua (Judg 1:20). Some commentators have identified it as possibly the city of Sepphoris but the evidence supporting such a conjecture is weak at best.
