Meaning 'second,' or 'repeat,' Mishneh—usually translated in English versions as 'the Second Distric'—as a location in ancient Jerusalem is mentioned twice in the OT (2 Ki 22:14; 2 Chron 34:22) as the district where the prophetess Hulda lived. It was probably located on the hills west of where the First Temple would have been located.
