The NET Bible, or "New English Translation," is a new English translation first issued in 1996. One of its main aims is to have a translation that makes it frely (not merely easily available but available without charge) to all who would read the Word of God but also one that is more amendable to the electronic age. It is copyrighted by the Biblical Studies Press, L.L.C. Electronic access to The NET Bible and a rich trove of other resources, are available for use at Bible.org and their Lumina.
