The name given to Simeon's prayer when he took the infant Jesus into his arms and praised God for him, recorded in Lk 2:29-32:
Sovereign Lord, as you have promised, now dismiss your servant in peace. For my eyes have seen your salvation, which you have prepared in the sight of all people, a light for revelation to the Gentiles and for glory to your people Israel. (NIV)
The name comes from nunc dimittis, "now let depart," the first words of the prayer in the Latin translation.
