The charismatic (and handsome) pastor of a mega-church in Singapore, Joseph Prince is perhaps best-known for his advocacy of what is called "hyper-grace," though the term does not appear in his key work, Destined to Reign. The secret to effortless success, wholeness and victorious living, which was published by his self-founded organization, Joseph Prince Resources.
As the resources below will show, Prince may be charismatic but his theology is suspect. Destine to Reign is easy to read but it is full of misunderstanding about what the Bible actually says and teaches. His ignorance and misunderstanding of the place of law in biblical theology is particularly chronic and severe. It may be said that Prince has produced a theology particularly condusive to those looking for an easy comfortable and palatable spiritual diet.
