Unitarians

A system of religious thoughts which rejects the Christian doctrine of the Trinity (hence the name) and, therefore, the deity of Christ, but believes that a relgious community may still be viable without the demand for doctrinal conformity. Their origin may be traced to the Anabaptists of the early Reformation days, it found fertile soil especially in America and where, with the election of Henry Ware to its theological department in 1805, Harvard University served as its intellectual bed.
