Valley of Baka

The 'Valley of Baka' is mentioned only once in the Bible, at Psm 86:6, a way-point in the path travelled by pilgrims in ancient Israel as they make their way to Jerusalem:

5Blessed are those whose strength is in you, whose hearts are set on pilgrimage. 6As they pass through the Valley of Baka, they make it a place of springs; the autumn rains also cover it with pools. 7 They go from strength to strength, till each appears before God in Zion. (NIV)

These verses suggest it was a site of refreshing. Its exact location is unknown.
