Infralapsarianism (aka Post-lapsarianism, or Sublapsarianism) is the form of the Calvinist concept of predestination that holds that God decreed the election or non-election of individuals to salvation only after the Fall.
Supralapsarianism (aka Ante-lapsarianism) is the extreme form of the Calvinist concept of predestination that holds that the election of any individual to salvation or damnation was already decreed before Adam's first act of disobedience.
The terms are derived from the Latin word lapsus for "fall."
